About the Artist
Wanze Li is a multidisciplinary artist born and raised in Guangdong, China, and currently based in New York City. Her artistic practice encompasses immersive sound design, experimental music, visual arts, and responsive light installations, dedicated to exploring how technology reshapes human perception and our experience of space.
She recently graduated with a master's degree from New York University and presented her first exhibition, “Sonic Luminance” — an immersive project featuring an audio-driven lighting system. This work showcases her exploration of cross-sensory mappings between timbre, luminance, and saturation, informed by a perceptual study she conducted with 34 participants.
